ABOUT LEE MANNIX---Lee Mannix is a pack behaviorist who consults on dog behavior. He has had the privilege of studying with the internationally recognized British behaviorists John Rogerson and the late John Fisher, and he attributes much of his success to their tutelage. His unique approach to training and his understanding of dog behavior and animal/human relationships has brought him local, state and national recognition as well as a following of clients from around the country. Lee is dedicated to a teaching philosophy based on improving relationships between people and their pets.
ABOUT THE SEMINARS-- This is a great opportunity to learn more about your dog. Lee Mannix is an excellent speaker with a very common sense approach to dog training. He is both informative and entertaining and offers a wealth of information on a variety of topics.These seminars will be open to all breeds however since they are being sponsored by the BTCA, club members will be given first chance to sign up and will be given reduced seminar fees. Lee will be offering 3 different seminars:

Topics: Understanding relationships with your dog;
effects of relationships on training; establishing a job for your dog;

1pm-3:30pm “Canine Behavior 101”
Topics: Behavior problems vs. training problems; understanding conflict, stress, anxiety, insecurity;
Q and A
6pm-9pm “The Performance Dog”
Topics: Reducing fear and frustration for the performance dog (agility, obedience, conformation, herding, etc.); basic problem solving; Q and A
